While nothing to do with hosting, we added a couple feeds for weather alerts. As a weather buff, for me it's something cool to have. As a Shanghai resident, it's important to know about severe weather before it happens.

Last week, someone forwarded an email to me regarding an email they'd received from a company who wanted to use their site for advertising. This company was willing to pay them up to $100 to add a short paragraph. This paragraph would even be placed on an obscure page on the website. The company told them which page they wanted, what the text was, and what the links were. Sounds okay, right?

Crawl China is now live and already planning its first event on March 20th, 2010! If you're in the Shanghai area, sign up for the Coldest Beer crawl and get on the bus!

We used Drupal of course, for this build, and will be creating some custom images as the site develops over the next month or so. The founder of TeraScape also just happens to be one of the planners for China Crawl as well. Now you know why we don't update this site too often. ;)

This is rather old news, as it's been online for a couple months now, but Bubba's Texas Saloon now has a new Drupal site of their own at http://www.bubbasasia.com complete with news, sports updates and mailing list. Check them out next time you're in the Hongqiao area.

This is a reminder to everyone regarding security on our servers, but also a general public notice regarding passwords & hackers. The update to 3.2 on the Control Panel added some security value to our control panel, as well as a few new features we're going to experiment with and roll out as needed. While digging through information regarding these features, I read about some security issues other hosting companies have had regarding email and FTP. Much of this had to do with passwords. I simply want to address one issue.

We finished http://www.fubarchina.com this morning, and put the site live. This is the first of a few new bar/restaurants we'll be setting up.
